Derrick Murphy is a lawyer in our Golden office, where Columbia Valley Law Corporation practises as Fairley & Blakley. He was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2019 and maintains a broad community-based practice serving individuals, families and businesses in Golden and throughout southeastern British Columbia.
Derrick assists clients with real estate, wills and estates, family law, business matters and civil litigation. A Practical, Local Practice
Derrick understands the practical realities of living, working and owning property in a smaller British Columbia community. He provides straightforward advice, explains risks without unnecessary legal jargon and helps clients make informed decisions about what comes next.
Outside the office, Derrick can usually be found hiking in the mountains, playing pickup soccer or reading old books. He is also a volunteer firefighter recruit with the Nicholson Fire Department. The word “recruit” remains important—for now.
